Welcome to the Family Leave Insurance website. New Jersey is proud to be the second state in the nation to implement a Family Leave Insurance benefit program. The Family Leave Insurance program is administered by the Division of Temporary Disability.

Family Leave Insurance provides up to six (6) weeks of benefits to bond with a newborn or newly adopted child or care for a seriously ill family member. Our goal is to ensure the Family Leave Insurance program is as efficient as possible for everyone involved in the claim process. We plan to continue to expand the information and services available on this site to ensure the best possible customer service.
