Investigative Process
When a claim is filed with the Division of Wage and Hour Compliance against your company, it is first reviewed by a supervisor to determine if the issue is a matter which falls under our jurisdiction.  More
Wages, Fees and Penalties
When it is determined that a complaintant is due back wages or when it is determined that there is a violation of any of the laws and regulations under our jurisdiction, the employer is sent out an Assessment Letter.  More
Employing Minors
There are a variety to regulations involving workers under the age of 18 including limits on the number of hours per day and per week, limits on the actual hours of work, and restriction on the types of work which can be performed. More
